Your responsibility

• Overall responsibility for the leadership, design, development and quality of the Arlesheim-Münchenstein secondary school as well as leadership and coordination of the school management team
• Responsibility for educational school leadership and development
• Managing staff
• Communication, advice and conflict management with all school stakeholders

Your background

• Teaching qualification for lower secondary level and several years of teaching experience at the target level
• Recognised school leadership training and several years of leadership experience in a school management role
• Skill in dealing with people and ability to interact with pupils, parents, teachers and authorities in a solution-oriented manner
• Strong communication skills, interest in structured and sustainable school development

Arlesheim-Münchenstein Secondary School

At the Arlesheim-Münchenstein Secondary School, 30 classes with around 650 pupils are taught and supervised by about 100 teachers and specialists at two locations.
You will meet a committed and well-coordinated school management team that knows the school, takes responsibility and looks forward to developing it further with you.

The position can also be taken up as a co-headship with 50 % each.
