Your responsibilities
- Co-responsibility in the school management team for the design, development and quality of the entire Liestal secondary school
- Strategic and operational school development
- Leadership responsibility, collaboration in the school management team
- Maintaining constructive relationships with pupils, parents, teachers and stakeholders
- Personnel management as a focus
- Further joint definition of the division of departments and tasks within the school management team
Your background
- Several years of professional experience as a secondary school teacher, recognised pedagogical training
- Recognised school management training or willingness to complete this alongside work
- Strong communication skills, interest in structured and sustainable school development
- Teamwork skills, sense of responsibility, solution-oriented communication, good ICT knowledge
- Interest in an open, participative leadership culture

Secondary School Liestal
The Secondary School Liestal is the largest secondary school in the canton of Baselland and consists of the two school buildings Burg and Frenke. Currently, we teach 47 classes from the performance tracks A, E and P, with over 850 pupils from eight municipalities. Our interprofessional team consists of 145 teachers, special needs educators and social pedagogues. We foster collegiality, an open approach and we do not lack humour – entirely in keeping with our motto: "learning together, growing together, being together". The school management will gladly accompany and support you during your induction.
