Job DescriptionTrack and Vehicles
- Support in the operation and use of special vehicles for the cleaning and maintenance of traffic and track facilities.
- Participation in the mechanical cleaning of routes, tracks and switches across the entire traffic network, including underground facilities.
- Carrying out cleaning, suction and flushing work on traffic and infrastructure facilities.
- Care and cleaning of routes as well as removal of weeds and leaves in the area of various traffic facilities.
- Support in maintenance and repair work on track and switch systems.
- General workshop work as well as simple maintenance work on vehicles, machines and equipment.
- Participation in night standby duties for winter maintenance and de-icing of traffic facilities with special vehicles.
Stops and Infrastructure
- Carrying out mechanical maintenance work and repairs on stops and their infrastructure.
- Attaching and updating passenger information such as posters, timetables and notices.
- Preparation, inspection and provision of components of the passenger information system.
- Carrying out control and quality assurance tours at stops and infrastructure facilities.
- Performing administrative tasks such as reporting and documentation.
- Support in cleaning work in waiting areas and stops.
- Carrying out simple maintenance work on vehicles and technical equipment.
- Completed 3-year vocational training, preferably in the field of metal construction, industry, logistics or a comparable technical profession.
- Driving licence category B mandatory.
- Driving licence category C/E advantageous or willingness and suitability to acquire it.
- Professional experience in Switzerland or on the Swiss labour market.
- Good German skills at least at level B2.
- Technical understanding, manual dexterity and willingness to perform practical work outdoors.
- Willingness to work shifts and nights as well as seasonal on-call duties.
