Employee portrait Nazife Shkodra
Since 1978, ETIMARK has been printing, cutting, and delivering circuit boards and labels worldwide. 🚀 🌍 Who makes this possible?
With this portrait series, we introduce the team.

What do you do at ETIMARK?
I work in finishing. After the labels are printed on the carrier material, the label rolls come to me in finishing. I operate the finishing machine and cut everything according to customer requirements.
Each order has something special I need to pay attention to. It is demanding and I have to stay focused.
At the same time, I monitor various parameters important for quality assurance. Then I pack the label rolls into boxes, label everything, and record the "finished goods" in the system or in the order. Philipp and Sepp from logistics take care of the shipping.
Since when have you been doing this job?
I started as a cutter in spring 2014. A few years later, I moved to finishing.
What do you like about your work?
For a year now, we have had a new finishing machine and there is always something new to learn — I like that. I am generally very happy at ETIMARK and enjoy coming to work.
Which do you prefer: early or late shift?
(05:00-14:00 / 14:00-23:00)
Definitely the early shift. I am a morning person through and through and like getting up at 4 o’clock. I would absolutely have no objection to working only the early shift. (smiles.)
What do you do in your free time?
I like to spend my free time with my children and family. We go on trips or meet with my siblings. When I have time, I also like going to the gym.
Do you have any future dreams you would like to share with us?
My biggest wish is to build a house here in Switzerland.
The second is to become naturalised, that is, to get the Swiss passport.
The process takes several years and is arduous, but I do not give up hope.
If it doesn’t work out for me, then at least for my children. My sons definitely want to join the Swiss military. I want to fulfil this wish for them!
Thank you, Nazife, for the open conversation. We keep our fingers crossed that all your dreams come true!
