INSPIRE F&B - MANAGEMENT TRAINING 18 months M/F – Spring 2027

General Responsibilities:
- Consistently provide professional, friendly, and engaging service
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, monitor their levels and schedules
- Organise staff schedules
- Implement all necessary actions to provide high-quality premium service
- Master the menu offerings, their garnishes, content and preparation methods, and master promotions
- Handle customer complaints and report to immediate supervisor
- Conduct briefings before service and maintain close links with the Head of Department
- Control stocks for daily use in restaurants and bars to ensure service levels
- Lead by example and apply LQA technical and emotional standards
- Commit to the quality of your service, discretion, and absolute honesty
- Strictly comply with hygiene and sanitary regulations
- Respect ergonomic work standards in health and safety rules
- Adhere to department policies, procedures, and service standards
- Comply with all safety policies
- Perform any other assigned tasks
Specific Responsibilities :
F&B rotation across all food and beverage outlets:
Banquets Supervisor:
- Supervise the service team in collaboration with Banquets supervisors
- Personally attend to guests and their requests during the organisation of banquets, breakfast, and brunch
- Participate in all required administrative work areas, including but not limited to: planning, opening/closing tasks, cleaning and maintenance checklists
- Coordinate staff training
- Be present on the floor and lead by example as a warm and professional host
Montreux Jazz Café Supervisor:
- Supervise the service team in collaboration with the Assistant Manager of Montreux Jazz Café
- Personally attend to guests (reservations, seating, order taking, cashier tasks if necessary) and ensure colleagues under supervision serve them efficiently
- Participate in all required administrative work areas, including but not limited to: planning, opening/closing tasks, cleaning and maintenance checklists, employee action plans, employee evaluations, recruitment
- Coordinate staff training (responsible for role-playing scenarios)
- Be present on the floor and lead by example as a warm and professional host
Funky Claude's Bar Supervisor:
- Supervise the service team in collaboration with the Funky Claude’s Bar Supervisor
- Organise the service plan and station plans
- Participate in beverage inventory
- Participate in all required administrative work areas, including but not limited to: planning, opening/closing tasks, cleaning and maintenance checklists, employee action plans, employee evaluations, recruitment
- Coordinate staff training
- Participate in regular cleaning inspections with the Funky Claude's Bar manager to ensure compliance with health and safety standards, as well as hotel cleanliness
In Room Dining & Pureaty Café Supervisor
- Supervise the In Room Dining team in collaboration with the In Room Dining Supervisor
- Participate in department management and be responsible in the absence of the supervisor
- Know the operation of room service, VIP equipment, and Pureaty Café
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene measures regarding trays, trolleys, equipment, and premises of IRD and Pureaty Café
- Master the menu offerings, their garnishes, content and preparation methods, and master promotions
Terrasse du Petit Palais - Supervisor
- Personally attend to guests (reservations, seating, order taking, farewells, cashier tasks if necessary) and ensure colleagues under supervision serve guests efficiently and timely
- Participate in beverage inventory
- Participate in all required administrative work areas, including but not limited to: planning, opening/closing tasks, cleaning and maintenance checklists, employee action plans, employee evaluations, recruitment
- Coordinate staff training
- Participate in regular cleaning inspections with the Terrasse du Petit Palais manager to ensure compliance with health and safety standards, as well as hotel cleanliness
Observation and support of F&B administration by the F&B Coordinator / F&B Director.
- Be introduced to the various budgets related to the F&B department
- Manage pressure and urgent demands from other departments regarding stock and budget management
- Be exposed to the logistics and organisation of the various F&B departments
- Be in contact with suppliers and service providers
- Understand the department dynamics and effectively plan colleagues
- Plan and prepare the hotel and department efficiently for future audits.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of a recognised hospitality school or university within the last two years
- Minimum of 1 year experience in food and beverage service
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a supervisory role
- Experience in a 4* or 5* hotel is an asset
- Fluent in spoken and written French and English
- Flexibility, adaptability, and stress resistance

VISA REQUIREMENTS
To work in Switzerland, the candidate must hold a Swiss work permit or be from an EU-17 or EU-8 European country.
