Senior Payroll Specialist

A renowned large company with over 500 employees is seeking reinforcement for the HR team.

In this key position as Senior Payroll Specialist (80-100%), you will take responsibility for an exceptionally diverse payroll landscape and ideally complement the existing team as an experienced professional.

Main tasks:

• Responsibility for the timely and accurate processing of all payroll runs

• Contact person for managers and employees on specialist questions

• Handling of the entire social insurance and withholding tax system

• Preparation of annual financial statements, account reconciliations and salary certificates

• Calculation of salary offers and participation in cross-departmental projects

• Continuous development and optimisation of the payroll system

Requirements:

• Commercial basic training with further education in payroll or social insurance absolutely essential

• Several years of solid senior professional experience in a large company (500–1000 employees)

• Proven practice in highly complex payroll environments (e.g. 50+ types of withholding tax, cross-border commuters, hourly wage earners)

• Proficient use of modern payroll and time recording systems (Infoniqa & TimeTool advantageous)

• Fluent German at native speaker level, very good French advantageous

• Precise, structured and independent working style
