For our client, a well-established company in the financial services sector in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced Axway SecureTransport / Managed File Transfer (MFT) Operations Engineer.

Axway SecureTransport / MFT Operations Engineer (60% - 100%)

Job description:

• Operate, administer and support the Axway SecureTransport platform
• Configure, maintain, upgrade and troubleshoot the MFT environment
• Ensure secure and reliable file transfers between internal and external systems
• Analyse and resolve incidents and production issues
• Support secure file transfer protocols including SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, AS2 and SCP
• Manage SSL/TLS, PGP encryption and X.509 certificates
• Automate operational and file transfer processes using Python and Shell/Bash
• Perform monitoring, log analysis and continuous platform optimisation
• Integrate the MFT platform with LDAP / Active Directory, SIEM solutions, schedulers and enterprise applications

About the customer:

In this role, you will support the secure and reliable operation of a business-critical Managed File Transfer platform, with a strong focus on platform administration, troubleshooting, automation and continuous improvement.

Assignement Details:

Workload: 60% - 100%

Start: ASAP

Duration: 6 months with the possibility of extension

Location: Zurich

Requirements:

• Several years of hands-on experience with Axway SecureTransport
• Strong experience with Managed File Transfer (MFT) and secure file transfer solutions
• Good knowledge of SFTP, FTPS, AS2, SSL/TLS, PGP and certificate management
• Experience in production support, troubleshooting and incident management
• Strong knowledge of Linux / Unix environments
• Experience with Python and Shell scripting
• Good understanding of IT security and secure data exchange
• Experience working in large enterprise environments
• Previous experience in banking or financial services is an advantage
• Knowledge of Java, PowerShell, SIEM or Active Directory is a plus
