An experienced individual is sought as a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer for a versatile IT environment. In this position, you combine technical consulting with the design, implementation, and support of modern IT infrastructures for clients.
The focus is on Microsoft client and server environments, virtualisation, networks, as well as terminal and Citrix technologies. At the same time, you take responsibility for the reliable operation and sustainable development of the systems you manage.
Responsibilities:
Consulting clients, conducting needs analyses, and developing suitable IT solutions
Design and implementation of workplace, server, and network infrastructures
Installation, configuration, and support of Microsoft-based IT systems
Implementation and administration of terminal services and Citrix environments
Support, maintenance, and ongoing servicing of client infrastructures
Analysis of technical requirements and implementation of sustainable optimisations
Qualifications:
Completed IT training, ideally with certifications such as MCSE, MCSA, CCA, or CCEA
Further training as an IT technician HF/TS is an advantage
Solid experience with Microsoft client and server environments
Good knowledge of server virtualisation; experience with Exchange and SQL Server is an advantage
Good knowledge of LAN, WLAN, WAN, VPN, and TCP/IP
Experience with mobile computing technologies as well as good German language skills
