Financial Controller & Project Manager 100%

This field of activity excites you

In this role, you work directly with the Head of Controlling & Projects and support the further development of controlling and related processes. At the same time, you ensure that cross-departmental projects do not remain good ideas but are successfully implemented.
Your daily routine moves between financial controlling, reporting, process improvements, and project management. You analyse connections, create transparency, and ensure decisions are based on reliable figures. The position combines practical financial controlling with disciplined project coordination.

  • You build trust in the numbers
You review valuations, provisions, and accruals. You ensure that significant items are documented transparently and correctly represented.
  • You explain business results
You analyse discrepancies between trading systems and financial accounting. When numbers do not match, you find the cause and make the connections understandable.
  • You provide decision-making bases
You prepare management reports on margins, costs, cash flow, and working capital. You not only show the numbers but also explain the reasons behind them.
  • You support accounting with the month-end closing
You coordinate the month-end closing across trading, logistics, treasury, and accounting. You follow up on open points, ensure deadlines are met, and bring up issues for clarification before they become problems.
  • You identify risks early
Missing invoices, old provisions, inventory discrepancies, or unrealistic cost estimates catch your attention before they affect result quality.
  • You further develop processes
You document workflows, define standards, and ensure processes are understandable, practical, and sustainable.
  • You bring projects to completion
You coordinate finance and system projects, track milestones, document decisions, and ensure agreed measures are implemented.

You bring with you

  • Degree in finance, accounting, controlling, business administration, or a comparable field
  • At least three years of experience in financial controlling, accounting, audit, or a comparable function
  • Experience with month-end closings, reconciliations, reporting, and financial analyses
  • Practical experience in cross-departmental projects, ideally with a finance or system focus
  • Experience in trading physical commodities is a plus
  • Very good Excel skills and experience with ERP and reporting systems
  • Very good German and English skills, spoken and written
  • Additional languages (French, Spanish, Portuguese) are a plus
  • You fit particularly well with us if you work in a structured way, can make complex topics understandable, and not only take responsibility but also see it through to the end.
  • Work permit for Switzerland (including EU)
