About the job
As an employee in HR Controlling, you support the strategic and operational management using personnel-related key figures. You create transparency regarding personnel costs and structures, thereby making an important contribution to the economic management of the University of St.Gallen.
Your tasks
- Preparation of personnel data and key figures for financial planning processes, accreditations, rankings and statistics, as well as for ad-hoc reports
- Creation, analysis and further development of personnel key figures, reports and evaluations for strategic and operational management (MIS)
- Conducting target-actual comparisons and variance analyses
- Preparation of personnel forecasts and scenario analyses
- Ensuring data quality in the relevant personnel and financial systems
- Interface to the HR department, including maintenance of technical interfaces
- Participation in projects to optimise personnel and financial processes
Your profile
- University degree and professional experience in the field, ideally in public administration
- Confident use of Excel; good knowledge of SAP and BI systems is an advantage
- Analytical skills, strong numerical understanding and conceptual thinking ability
- Reliable, independent and precise working style
- High service orientation, teamwork skills and sense of responsibility
- German at native speaker level, as well as good English skills
