The Restaurant Eggli Appenzell is looking to strengthen its kitchen team with a dedicated Sous Chef, Cook, or Junior Cook.
Start date: From autumn 2026 or by arrangement.
As we are preparing for an exciting future, we would like to fill the position already in autumn to ensure careful and comprehensive training.
Your tasks
- Preparing the daily mise en place and offer preparation
- Creative co-design of the menu
- Professional preparation of dishes
- Coordination and smooth collaboration within the kitchen team
- Compliance with hygiene regulations and ongoing quality control of the offered products
What you bring
- Completed training as a Cook EFZ or equivalent experience
- Passion for fresh, regional, and quality cuisine
- Team spirit, reliability, and enjoyment of the profession
- Independent and clean working style
- For the position of Sous Chef, additionally leadership skills and organisational talent
- Vehicle for commuting
