Community Health and Care Assistant for Intensive Care
To complete its team, the Adult Intensive Care Medicine Service of the Department of Interdisciplinary Centres is looking for a community health and care assistant (ASSC) at an activity rate of 80% to 100%, under a permanent contract.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the five Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, it plays a leading role in medical care, research and education.
The Adult Intensive Care Medicine Service (SMIA) cares for all adult patients at CHUV requiring intensive care services. It fulfils both a university reference role (highly specialised medicine, complex pathologies such as major burns, heart and lung transplants) and a regional proximity role for the Lausanne population.
Mission
- You work closely with the nursing team to provide comprehensive patient care
- You responsibly and autonomously support patients in daily living activities
- You perform care and monitoring delegated by nurses
- You carry out medico-technical care under supervision in stable care situations
- You ensure logistical and administrative activities related to patient care.
Profile
- You hold a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a community health and care assistant (ASSC)
- You have a strong interest in acute and complex care
- You are a dynamic, motivated, committed person with a sense of responsibility.
