The Rossfeld Foundation empowers, accompanies, and supports around 450 people of all ages with physical, motor, and perceptual disabilities in the areas of school, living, day structure, and therapy. Our clients and their needs are at the center. We stand for high service quality, short decision-making paths, and dynamic working methods in a changing environment. Rossfeld School Education is the only competence center in the canton of Bern offering school, residential groups, and therapy for children and adolescents capable of regular education with a physical, motor, or perceptual disability in the regular school sector.

Tasks
You will
• teach eight students in Cycle 2
• orient yourself on the Lehrplan 21 of the regular school Canton Bern
• work closely with the co-class teacher and the school assistant
• be in close interdisciplinary exchange with social pedagogy and therapy
• work closely in the cycle team
• have shared responsibility as a class teacher
• likely have your teaching days on Tuesday morning and Friday
Requirements
You bring with you
• Completed training as a school special educator or training as a teacher with experience in special education
• Knowledge in supporting children with special needs
• Joy in working with students with a physical disability
• Resilience, methodological confidence, and flexibility
• Individualized teaching style
• Convincing communication and solution-oriented work
• Fluent oral and written expression in German
• Open attitude and joy in teamwork
• Calmness and a pinch of humor
• Joy in interdisciplinary collaboration
• Good PC user skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
