About the job

For our client, a modern and international medical technology company in the Biel metropolitan area, we are looking for an enthusiastic and committed personality as Team Leader Logistics 100% to start immediately or by arrangement.

Your tasks

• Responsibility for the efficient planning and coordination of resources in the warehouse and logistics area to ensure timely deliveries
• Monitoring forecasts, workload and team capacities to proactively determine resource requirements
• Monitoring and further development of relevant logistics KPIs, especially OTIF, forecast monitoring, team productivity and individual packaging adjustments
• Participation in daily deployment planning, prioritisation of tasks as well as identification and resolution of operational bottlenecks
• Ensuring compliance with SOPs, quality standards as well as applicable safety and compliance regulations
• Professional leadership and support of the team in daily operations
• Collaboration with the responsible managers in the goods receipt and logistics area as well as taking on corresponding deputy tasks

Your profile

• Technical education
• Business administration advanced technical college or further training in materials management
• Several years of professional experience in a leadership position
• Languages: fluent in English; very good in German and French
• Good MS Office and SAP knowledge
• Independent working style
• Leadership experience, assertiveness, employee motivation
• Negotiation skills
• Team-oriented and economical thinking and acting
