Role:
From the first requirement to the productive release: Ensure that software not only works but convinces permanently.
This position is aimed at testing specialists who want to combine classic quality assurance with modern software development. The focus is on intelligent test concepts, automation, technical quality and the continuous improvement of development processes.
Responsibilities:
Building a modern and scalable testing strategy
Translating professional and technical requirements into precise test concepts
Planning and managing test activities throughout the entire software lifecycle
Developing automated tests for applications, interfaces and databases
Conducting technical integration and end-to-end tests
Developing and maintaining reusable test frameworks and test scripts
Automating regression tests and recurring quality scenarios
Integrating quality gates into build, deployment and release pipelines
Analysing complex error patterns and collaborating with development teams on root cause analysis
Tracking defects and ensuring transparent error resolution
Building structured test data and reproducible test environments
Further developing test processes based on quality metrics and experience
Promoting shift-left and continuous testing approaches
Supporting the optimisation of agile development processes
Qualifications:
Education in computer science, advanced vocational training or comparable technical qualification
Several years of experience in software testing, quality engineering or test automation
Very good knowledge of test design, test methodology and test automation
Experience with API, integration and database testing
Technical understanding of modern software architectures
Confident handling of version control and automated development processes
Experience with CI/CD, DevOps or agile software teams
Knowledge of tools such as GitLab, Jira, Xray or comparable platforms
Enjoy questioning existing test processes critically and further developing them technically
Strong analytical skills and high personal responsibility
Clear communication and confident appearance towards different stakeholders
