Pharmacy Assistant for the Logistics Unit
The Pharmacy Service is looking for a pharmacy assistant for its Pharmaceutical Logistics Unit, between 80% and 100%, starting 1st September 2026.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the five Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The CHUV Pharmacy Service is responsible for the manufacture and supply of pharmaceutical products to the hospital, the rational use of medicines, as well as teaching and research in hospital pharmacy.
Mission
- You prepare orders for the care units
- You manage medicines in the care units' pharmacies
- You ensure the transmission of information related to pharmaceutical logistics
- You participate, with the team, in managing the hospital's medicine stock
- You contribute to writing instructions and monitoring documentation
- You participate in quality management.
Profile
- You hold a Federal VET Diploma as a pharmacy assistant, a pharmacy technician diploma, or an equivalent qualification
- You are able to work independently
- You have experience with medicines in hospital, outpatient, or industrial settings
- You have a strong interest in pharmaceutical logistics
- You possess specific knowledge of handling cytotoxic medicines, the cold chain, and narcotics
- You have excellent teamwork skills and appreciate a varied work environment
- You are proficient with computer tools
- You demonstrate rigour and precision in performing technical tasks
- You have sustained concentration ability and good stress resistance.
