Sous Chef Banquet 100% (m/f/d)
Your area of responsibility
- Responsibility for the preparation, quality, and presentation of all dishes in the banquet area, in compliance with HACCP and GHP guidelines
- Control of outgoing dishes for quality, quantity, and presentation according to our internal standards
- Management of the kitchen pass during service times as well as guidance of employees
- Ensuring, maintaining, and further developing the hygiene and safety concept of the banquet kitchen
- Participation in inventories and close cooperation with cost controlling
- Representation of the head chef in their absence and active support in daily operations
- Planning and conducting specialised training for employees
- Compliance with and implementation of all internal regulations and quality guidelines
- Support in the training and promotion of our apprentices
What we expect from you
- Completed training as a cook with a federal certificate of competence (EFZ)
- Several years of experience as Chef de Partie or Jr. Sous Chef / Sous Chef in upscale gastronomy or hotel industry
- Passion for cooking, combined with a spirit of innovation, creativity, and a high awareness of quality
- Strong affinity for high-quality products and business understanding
- High reliability, sense of responsibility, and structured working behaviour
- Ability to lead, promote, and motivate employees positively
- Enjoyment of working in a multicultural environment and a large team
