The contribution you can make

• Responsible for the allocation of material for repair and overhaul and checking the condition and functionality of the material and ammunition stored above and below ground
• Instruct and train the troops and specialists mainly in German on the handling and maintenance of the material
• Act as the contact person for customers and lead the troop craftsmen
• Responsible for the professional management of work and personnel during the issue and return of army material and ammunition to the troops, adhering to the specified deadlines
• Properly issue, receive, and relocate material and ammunition, conduct inventories, and prepare them according to existing regulations and instructions

What makes you unique

• Apprenticeship as a logistics specialist with a federal certificate of competence (EFZ)
• Strong service orientation in contact with and advising customers, for example the troops
• Efficient and conscientious working style as well as organisational skills to support smooth operations
• Driving licence categories B, BE, C, (CE and F), good SAP knowledge

The Logistics Base of the Swiss Army (LBA) is there for the troops. It provides all logistical services for the Swiss Army and manages the material, systems, and infrastructure of the Swiss Army with its approximately 3,500 employees and 12,000 militia members.
