Technical Project Management / Engineering Manager for EPCM Projects in Process Plant Engineering (m/f/d)

Scope
You contribute to success by taking on the following tasks: In this responsible position, you are in charge of managing all technical disciplines and the planning and execution of technical activities, thus playing a key role in the successful realisation of large projects and conveying your expert knowledge in process engineering in challenging situations.
- Responsibility for implementing the technical concept according to the project contract
- Execution and optimisation of plant design considering project budget, schedule, company policies and standards, as well as customer requirements
- Organisation of planning processes as well as progress determination and evaluation, ensuring the required quality in the project
- Responsibility for coordinating the technical disciplines, leading and managing the engineering team (especially regarding resources, tasks, deadlines and costs), supporting the project team with technical know-how and sound expertise
- Creation of standards and project-specific engineering manuals in coordination with the client and internal interfaces
- Review and approval of deliverables including those from suppliers for accuracy and completeness, as well as planning and management of FATs and SATs
- Creation, review, updating and approval of documents
- Monitoring and involvement in identifying project risks and developing risk mitigation plans
- Moderation of project meetings and acting as the interface to the client regarding all technical matters
You bring the following qualifications:
- Completed technical degree with a focus on process engineering, plant or mechanical engineering or similar
- Training in project management is an advantage
- Entrepreneurial thinking and customer orientation
- At least 10-15 years of relevant professional experience in engineering management of large projects, preferably in the pharmaceutical or chemical plant sector
- Comprehensive, interdisciplinary technical know-how as well as sound knowledge and experience in engineering industrial projects
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Strong leadership skills and team orientation combined with commitment and a hands-on mentality
- Very good English skills, both spoken and written
- German language skills required for internal communication within the company
- Work experience in Swiss work culture is desirable
- Willingness to travel
