We are looking for a
Catechist
based in social diaconia
For the 2026/27 school year, we are starting to implement the religious education concept with a focus on experiential learning and a strong emphasis on parent contacts. Mixed-age children and youth should experience faith as relevant to everyday life, be able to ask their questions about God and the world, and find a home in a supportive community.
Your areas of responsibility
• Main responsibility for Chinderchile (2nd kindergarten – 5th grade) and leadership of the group for older (3rd – 5th grade) or younger children (2nd kindergarten – 2nd grade)
• Main responsibility or collaboration for Spring Week
• 2 – 3 flexible offers (e.g., coordination of Christmas theater, lunch offer, own ideas – workshops also possible)
• Strengthening parent contacts (parent education, conceptualization of parent communication)
• Possibly extended responsibility or collaboration in preschool age, at Chile-Sunntig or in youth chile
Your profile
• Joy in experiential learning (competencies desired)
• Heart for religious education according to mission statement / concept and enthusiasm for contact with families
• Willingness to work flexible hours, approx. 8 – 12 weekend assignments per year
• Training in catechetics, social diaconia or comparable qualification
