About the job
For the Language Services team, we are immediately looking for a Senior Translator 60-100% (m/f/d).
In the exciting environment of Swiss social insurances, we are driving various projects forward. These projects are associated with diverse linguistic tasks in translation and communication.
As a translator, you support us in various linguistic disciplines in translation between German, Italian, and English – with a focus on IT topics in the field of social insurance (1st pillar).

What you will achieve
Your main tasks are:
- Translation of various texts with a focus on German, Italian, and English
- Editorial translations of German, Italian, and English texts
- Quality assurance of translations
- Maintenance and processing of terminology databases and translation memories in SDL Trados Studio and Phrase
- Multilingual communication with internal customers and our community
- Co-design of generative artificial intelligence in the context of language services (human translations, post-editing, AI prompting)
- Participation in projects
Why you will succeed
For this exciting role, we are looking for open, flexible, and team-oriented individuals with the following desired profile:
- Basic or advanced training as a certified translator
- Native German speaker, B-language is/are English or Italian, French is an advantage
- Several years of professional experience in a modern translation environment, ideally in insurance, IT, or finance
- Confident use of Trados Studio or memoQ, Microsoft Office mandatory; other tools are a plus
- Familiar with post-editing and human translations and the linguistic customs in the German, western, and Italian-speaking parts of Switzerland
- Interest in working in an agile IT environment and accompanying change processes
