Our client is an established trading company in the technical sector, offering its services to professional customers from the craft and industrial sectors. In addition to a versatile product range, the company provides expert advice and complementary services tailored to the individual requirements of customers. Responsibilities:
You conduct negotiations with suppliers both domestically and abroad.
You evaluate new sources of supply and specifically develop existing suppliers.
You regularly analyse market, price, and currency data.
You check calculations regarding costs, sales prices, and margins.
You help shape framework agreements as well as payment and delivery terms.
You coordinate procurement quantities with economic requirements.
You coordinate relevant purchasing topics with sales, product management, logistics, and finance.
You ensure correct ERP data in purchasing on an ongoing basis.
Qualifications:
You bring several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing.
You have completed a commercial apprenticeship as well as further training in purchasing or supply chain management.
Negotiation skills and assertiveness are among your strengths.
You can confidently assess numbers, cost structures, and margins.
You work routinely and reliably with ERP systems.
You analyse issues in a structured manner and derive decisions from them.
Initiative, perseverance, and entrepreneurial thinking characterise you.
Very good German skills as well as good English skills are required.
