Role:
Good cloud solutions arise when architecture, automation, and operation work together. This task starts exactly here: you develop standardised Azure platforms, make infrastructure reproducible, and ensure that security and governance requirements are considered from the outset. At the same time, you bring your technical perspective into customer projects and shape the next steps of existing cloud products with a committed engineering team.
Responsibilities:
Develop and improve platforms
You build standardised Azure Cloud platforms and continuously develop existing cloud products.
You design cloud architectures where security, governance, identity, and networking are considered from the start.
You develop technical standards and contribute your ideas to improve engineering practices.
Consistently implement automation
You use Terraform to provide infrastructure and deployments in a traceable, repeatable, and efficient manner.
You integrate automation into CI/CD processes and use Git for structured collaboration and versioning.
You consider Azure Policy, Microsoft Entra ID, and monitoring when designing and further developing the platforms.
Take on technical responsibility
You accompany customer projects from technical solution finding to implementation.
You coordinate with customers and internal teams and bring different requirements into a practical technical solution.
You support the further development of cloud operating models and managed services.
Qualifications:
Your technical profile
You have solid experience with Microsoft Azure, especially in networking, identity, and security.
You have very good knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
You are familiar with Azure Landing Zones, the Cloud Adoption Framework, Azure Policy, Microsoft Entra ID, and monitoring.
You have experience with Git, CI/CD, and the automation of infrastructure and deployment processes.
You understand the requirements that cloud operating models and managed services place on architecture and engineering.
Your working style
You enjoy developing reusable cloud solutions and actively improving technical products.
You work independently, pragmatically, and solution-oriented and take responsibility for your results.
You bring customer orientation and consulting competence and can communicate technical matters clearly.
You value teamwork, open communication, and professional exchange.
You have very good German skills as well as good to very good English skills.
