About the job
The Swiss Cancer Institute is the national network for clinical cancer research in Switzerland. Since 1965, we have been committed as a non-profit organisation to improving cancer treatment for the Swiss population. According to our vision "Clinical research for a cure tomorrow," we conduct clinical studies in oncology and serve as the central contact point for authorities, professional associations, and the pharmaceutical industry. Around 70 employees work at the competence centre in Bern, closely collaborating with all leading oncological clinics in the country.
To complement our team, we are looking for a motivated, reliable, and independent individual to start immediately or by arrangement as
Clinical Project Manager
Your Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for planning, coordinating, and conducting national and international studies in the field of oncology (Phase I-III)
- Leading interdisciplinary project teams and close collaboration with study centres, clinical research organisations, authorities, partner companies, and internal departments
- Creation, updating, and management of study-relevant documentation
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (ICH-GCP)
- Responsibility for budget planning and control as well as time management of study projects
Your Profile:
- Biological and/or clinical-scientific education or experience as a nurse/study nurse
- Several years of experience in project management of clinical studies, ideally in oncology
- Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements (ICH-GCP)
- Expertise in managing budgets and schedules for clinical studies
- Strong organisational skills, high personal responsibility, and team orientation
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to foster a cooperative team environment
- High adaptability and problem-solving competence
- Good German and English skills, both written and spoken; French or Italian is an advantage
