Export Specialist (m/f/d)

Role:
Do you want to apply your experience in international goods traffic and take on responsibility? As an export specialist, you are an important contact person for cross-border trade transactions, coordinate worldwide deliveries, and actively shape the further development of existing processes.
Responsibilities:
You ensure reliable handling of international goods deliveries and accompany the associated commercial processes.
You take care of planning various transport routes and compare offers from external service providers.
You check compliance with legal requirements in cross-border trade, including export control requirements.
You process documents on the origin of goods and customs-related benefits and ensure their correct preparation.
You support internal departments with questions about customs tariffs, international trade agreements, and shipping formalities.
You coordinate cooperation with the responsible authorities and logistics partners and accompany corresponding inspections.
You identify opportunities for improvement in existing workflows and contribute to the introduction of digital and automated solutions.
Qualifications:
You have several years of professional experience in international goods trade and customs clearance.
You have a commercial basic education with further training in foreign trade.
You possess in-depth knowledge of Swiss customs regulations as well as international trade agreements and preferential rules.
You are familiar with cross-border transport processes, logistics workflows, and Incoterms.
You communicate very well in German and English and enjoy working with different contacts.
You convince through personal responsibility, organisational talent, and a structured, solution-oriented way of working.
