Independent indication and performance of fluoroscopy- and ultrasound-guided, minimally invasive interventions (e.g. facet joint treatments, epidural injections, peripheral nerve blocks, pulsed radiofrequency therapy) in the hospital's own procedure room
Psychosomatic & Multimodal Management: Holistic care of inpatient and outpatient patients with chronic pain conditions considering the biopsychosocial disease model
Participation in departmental and clinical projects
Perioperative acute pain medicine: Medical care and further development of the hospital-wide acute pain service (Acute Pain Service) including care of regional anaesthetic catheter procedures (e.g. PCA, epidural catheters, peripheral nerve catheters) on the surgical wards
Interdisciplinary collaboration: Active participation and expansion of interdisciplinary pain boards in close cooperation with the surgical clinics and occupational therapy/physiotherapy

Bring along

Certificate in Interventional Pain Therapy (SSIPM) or an equivalent, recognised qualification
Title "SPS Pain Specialist" or a demonstrated interest or additional qualification in Psychosomatic and Psychosocial Medicine (SAPPM) advantageous
Specialist title in Anaesthesiology (FMH or equivalent qualification) advantageous
