Shape the swisspor polyurethane rigid foams of tomorrow

As a project manager in development - focusing on polyurethane insulation materials - you take on a key role in the further development of our formulations, products, and processes. You work closely with internal departments and external research partners and turn ideas into marketable solutions.

• In this role, you lead development projects in the field of polyurethane rigid foam insulation materials (PIR). You coordinate all involved parties, keep track of deadlines, quality, and technical requirements, and manage projects from the initial idea to successful implementation.
• A focus of your work is planning and conducting experiments, tests, and examinations for new formulations and products. You develop suitable experimental designs, work in the laboratory or with external testing institutions, analyze the results, and document them so that they directly flow into the further development of our products and systems.
• For complex issues, you actively collaborate with external partners such as universities, research institutes, or specialized suppliers. You manage joint projects, accompany research work, and ensure that new findings are efficiently transferred into development.
• You monitor technological trends, identify potentials for new solutions, and recognize optimization possibilities for existing products, materials, and processes. With your innovative spirit, you shape further developments that increase quality, sustainability, or efficiency.
• Furthermore, you are involved in group-wide projects and support colleagues from production, quality assurance, application technology, and product management across the entire swisspor group with your expertise.

• A completed degree in chemistry, process engineering, materials science, or a comparable education
• Enthusiasm for new things as well as the development and implementation of innovative ideas
• Experience in product development, ideally in the field of polyurethanes
• Enjoyment of analytical work, experimenting, and technical-scientific documentation
• Project management competence as well as the ability to coordinate interdisciplinary teams
• Structured and independent working style
• High initiative and sense of responsibility
• Hands-on mentality and solution orientation
• High team spirit and uncomplicated collaboration with colleagues at all levels
• In the role as a sparring partner and service provider, you support our business pragmatically, solution-oriented, and effectively.
• You are open to travel up to 20% domestically and abroad (Europe)
• Very good German and English skills, French is an advantage
