Interdisciplinary teams of psychotherapists, nursing professionals, and specialists in psychiatry and psychotherapy ensure comprehensive outpatient treatment methods.

The Clienia Psychiatry Centre Wetzikon (PZW) is an outpatient institution of Clienia Schlössli AG (Medical Director Prof. Dr. med. Wolfram Kawohl) and, together with the Clienia Psychiatry Centre Zurichsee (PZZ), holds the care mandate for the canton of Zurich. The psychiatry centres operate outpatient clinics with a wide range of specialist consultations, two day clinics, as well as a consultation and liaison psychiatry service. From Monday to Friday, 8 am to 6 pm, the PZZ and PZW provide psychiatric emergency services for the Zurich Oberland region. The PZZ and PZW are outpatient training centres of category A (3 years).
Your Tasks
In this role, as Senior Consultant at the Wetzikon site, you will actively shape the outpatient-polyclinic care in the field of addiction disorders. You conduct assessment interviews and support patients with addiction disorders and psychiatric comorbidities in their psychiatric-psychotherapeutic treatment, including opioid agonist therapies (OAT) and heroin-assisted treatment (HeGeBe), a professionally demanding and socially significant field of work. You participate in the emergency, consultation, and liaison services of the care region.
Your Profile
You bring several years of inpatient and outpatient psychiatric experience as well as advanced or completed psychotherapeutic training and hold the specialist title or specialist readiness for psychiatry and psychotherapy. Experience or strong interest in addiction medicine is an advantage. You work independently and with enthusiasm for the best possible, responsible, and well-networked patient care.

There is the possibility of expert witness work upon request.
