Process Analytics is a division within the METTLER TOLEDO Group and a leading provider of field instruments for the analysis of liquids and gases in the process industry. At our main locations in Urdorf (CH), Billerca (US), Shanghai (CN), we develop and produce high-quality sensors for controlling production processes, which we sell worldwide through our own market organizations. To support the planning team, we are looking for a highly motivated, assertive, and team-oriented person at the Urdorf site immediately, temporarily as an operational buyer 100% for 9 – 12 months (all genders). In this role, you will take on the following tasks: You are responsible for the operational purchasing of the product groups assigned to you. You develop the procurement strategy for your area in coordination with strategic purchasing and proactively implement it. You are responsible for recording and maintaining the material master data and for processing order confirmations and reminders. Additionally, you implement appropriate measures to sustainably ensure product and delivery quality and support the introduction of new items. You handle quality complaints in cooperation with the specialist departments and optimize existing procurement processes. You participate in the implementation of internal and external standardization and optimization projects within the entire supply chain.
