About the job
At the Heilpädagogisches Zentrum Hohenrain, we support children and young people with cognitive or speech impairments from kindergarten to school leaving. Your tasks
- You accompany children with special needs in everyday life and support them in gradually developing their independence.
- You plan diverse and varied leisure activities and benefit from our modern, well-equipped infrastructure.
- In cooperation with parents and caregivers, you communicate openly, appreciatively and with trust.
- You work closely in a team and help out straightforwardly to master daily challenges together.
- If necessary, you take on nursing tasks and assist with domestic duties.
- You regularly perform night duty and also take on weekend and holiday care.
Your profile
- You have completed training in social pedagogy HF/FH or a comparable recognised qualification.
- With joy, commitment and composure, you accompany children with cognitive impairments and remain reliably by their side even in demanding situations.
- You actively contribute your professional competence and creative ideas to teamwork.
- You are characterised by an independent and well-organised working style as well as your mental and physical resilience in everyday work.
- You have good German language skills and secure IT user knowledge.
