What you can achieve

• You integrate, install and configure backend and application services as well as vendor-specific applications and ensure their operational readiness in the intended target environments.
• You are responsible for the implementation and configuration of platform resources, container images, secrets and persistence according to architecture and security specifications.
• You ensure traceable versioning and documentation of system and service configurations and create the necessary operational, installation and troubleshooting documents.
• You accompany the technical integration and provision of releases, upgrades and patches and ensure their functionality through appropriate tests.
• You develop technical concepts and solution designs and define interfaces as well as technical dependencies to existing systems and surrounding systems.
• You ensure that the implemented solutions comply with the applicable architecture and security specifications and that the required integration and test evidence is available.

What you bring with you

• You have at least five years of professional experience in DevSecOps, system engineering, system administration or system architecture.
• You have good knowledge of Linux systems, container technologies as well as integration, configuration and operation of platform and application services.
• You are familiar with IT security, system configurations and technical interfaces.
• You have experience in the technical integration of complex system landscapes and in creating corresponding concepts and documentation.
• You are familiar with agile development and collaboration methods; experience with SAFe is an advantage.
• You work independently, in a structured and solution-oriented manner and have good German language skills (at least level B2).

About the department

Network Engineering & Support provides services in the design and implementation of new telecommunications projects for armasuisse as well as in the provision and further development of SLA services for the command network. The focus is on reliable operation, integration of modern technologies and continuous development of the system landscape.
