What you will achieve with us
- You represent the head of the primary school in the overall operational responsibility for teaching and care at the municipal level.
- You lead the day school management on behalf of the head of the primary school and work together with them to ensure a uniform leadership culture across all school districts as well as across teaching and care.
- You are responsible for quality development in the area of care and contribute to the management of school development as well as the efficient use of personnel, spatial, and financial resources across teaching and care.
- You advise the municipal council as the politically strategic authority of the primary school and support the department management in preparing the relevant matters.
- You shape the joint development of teaching and care and actively contribute to the establishment of a new, unified leadership system between schools, day schools, administration, and politics.
- You contribute to school communication as well as to fundamental issues of crisis management and prevention.
- You support the head of the primary school in representing the primary school internally and externally and contribute to building and maintaining cooperation with municipal, cantonal, and other stakeholders.
How you inspire us
- You have a tertiary education in the education or social sector and further training in leadership, school management, and ideally in business administration.
- You bring several years of professional and leadership experience in an educational institution or public administration, preferably in the area of school-related care or in a comparable function.
- You know the processes of the primary school and understand the requirements for teaching, care, and organization at the system level.
- You lead cooperatively, reliably, and reflectively and have experience working with leadership personnel.
- You can classify, think ahead, and constructively address organizational and pedagogical issues and are experienced in dealing with different stakeholders.
- You communicate factually, appropriately for the audience, and have very good German language skills in speaking and writing.
- You are resilient, work in a structured and solution-oriented manner, and keep an overview even in difficult situations.
