IT thrives on people who keep an overview. This is exactly where the role of Infrastructure & Cloud Specialist comes in. The operation of the entire infrastructure is in your hands, while you actively shape the path to the cloud. Technical diversity rather than narrow specialisation characterises your daily work. Short paths and plenty of scope for creativity are part of it.
Responsibilities:
You ensure the smooth operation of servers, network components, clients, and mobile devices including software and interfaces.
You are the first point of contact for technical questions in the specialist departments.
Furthermore, you carry out IT projects, roll out solutions, and train users.
You advance cloud and digitalisation initiatives together with the team.
You continuously strengthen the security level of the entire IT landscape.
In addition, you support IT apprentices in their professional development.
Qualifications:
You have completed an IT apprenticeship EFZ or an equivalent technical background.
You are proficient in Microsoft 365 (M365) and Azure.
You are comfortable with server and virtualisation topics around VMware, as well as network technology with Cisco and Fortinet.
A broad range of topics motivates you more than a narrow specialisation.
Your German skills are excellent, and technical English poses no difficulty for you.
Additionally, you work independently, quickly familiarise yourself with new things, and approach others openly.
