Role:
You want to not only understand cloud technologies but also shape them yourself? As a Junior Microsoft Cloud Engineer, you get exactly this chance and grow with every project. The focus is on modern platforms based on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 (M365). An experienced team supports you and gives you space to try new things. This way, you build solid know-how in cloud, security, and automation step by step.
Responsibilities:
You set up roles, groups, and permissions in Entra ID and support the introduction of Conditional Access and MFA.
You provision new Azure resources automatically via Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep.
You accompany projects that migrate existing server landscapes to the cloud.
Additionally, you administer end devices and compliance policies in Intune and maintain M365 services.
You troubleshoot issues in the cloud environment, implement security policies, and optimise existing structures.
You also simplify recurring processes with PowerShell scripts and maintain the associated documentation.
Qualifications:
You have already gained at least one year of practical experience with Azure or M365.
Basic concepts around identities, access rights, and RBAC are familiar to you.
You have written initial scripts for automation, and experience with IaC is a plus.
You understand network basics such as subnetting, DNS, firewalling, or VPN confidently. Knowledge of Fortinet or comparable solutions is welcome.
Furthermore, you communicate confidently in German and are comfortable with English documentation.
Moreover, you approach problems with curiosity, ask questions when something is unclear, and bring genuine enthusiasm for learning.
