About the job
Activities- Planning, implementation and documentation of educational, language promotion and integration programmes for children, young people and adults in transit centres as well as external course rooms
- Teaching in heterogeneous groups in the areas of early language promotion, children’s formats, DaZ/DaF, literacy, basic skills and everyday-oriented integration
- Promotion of linguistic, school and practical everyday skills taking into account different educational biographies, learning levels and individual needs
- Individual adaptation of teaching content, methods and materials to diverse target groups
- Implementation of literacy and basic skills programmes according to professional qualification
- Close cooperation with care teams, specialist offices as well as internal and external partners
- Active participation in the further development and quality assurance of educational programmes
- Flexible assignments at various locations in the canton of Schwyz as well as in external course rooms
Requirements
- Completed studies in linguistic integration, DaF/DaZ or a related field or studies in German studies, linguistics, philology or language science with Fide certificate "Language Course Instructor in the Integration Area" (or willingness to acquire this promptly)
- For children’s formats: pedagogical training as a teacher or equivalent qualification (DaZ/DaF further training advantageous)
- For literacy: corresponding additional qualification in the field of literacy / basic skills required
- Experience working with children, young people or adults in heterogeneous groups advantageous
- Experience in the asylum, migration or integration sector as well as in basic education/literacy advantageous
- Strong flexibility and high willingness for cross-location assignments in the canton of Schwyz
- Intercultural competence, empathy and appreciative attitude towards different life realities
- Independent, structured and reliable working style with high documentation security
- Enjoyment of teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration
