The KiTas Bethanien are represented with five locations in Zurich: Altstetten, Fluntern, Kalkbreite, Oerlikon and Seefeld.
Our KiTas are easily accessible by public transport. Children aged from three months up to kindergarten entry are cared for in two to five age-separated standard groups. Our educational concept is based on the guiding principle: “Help me to do it myself – and let me grasp in order to understand”.

You bring with you:
- Successful passing of the entrance examination at ARTISET hfk (Higher Vocational School for Childhood Education in Zug or Zurich). We do not offer study places at Agogis.
- Completed EFZ training, general school education (grammar school, specialised middle school, etc.) or an equivalent qualification
- Pre-internship at the start of training of at least 4 to 6 months (depending on prior education) in a childcare institution
- Confident oral and written expression in German
- High social competence and ability to work in a team
- Resilience & flexibility to master the lively daily routine
- Openness, eagerness to learn & sense of responsibility

Training Manager
The Diakonie Bethanien Foundation, headquartered in Zurich-Altstetten, employs around 400 staff. The foundation includes two retirement and nursing homes, five KiTas, two child-parent institutions, the social therapeutic residential institution TheWo Bethanien, as well as the Placid Hotel Zurich with the neighbourhood restaurant Buckhuser.
