IT Application Manager (m/f/d)

Role:
For a modern IT environment, an experienced individual is sought who will take responsibility for the operation and further development of a central warehouse management solution. The position combines application management, process understanding, and technical coordination and forms an important interface between IT, business units, and external partners.
In addition to stable operation, the focus is on analysing disruptions, further developing the application, and participating in projects and professional requirements.
Responsibilities:
Responsibility for the operation and continuous development of a warehouse management system
Management of incident, problem, and release management in the application environment
Analysis and resolution of application and interface errors, especially in interaction with ERP systems
Coordination and management of external IT service providers in application operations
Recording, analysing, and specifying professional requirements in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
Participation in IT projects and central coordination between business units, IT, and external partners
Qualifications:
Education or degree in computer science, business informatics, business administration, or comparable practical professional experience
Solid experience in the operation and further development of warehouse management systems
Good knowledge of ERP-related business processes and corresponding system landscapes
Experience in application operations with incidents, changes, and releases
Familiarity with agile working methods as well as good knowledge of Jira and Confluence
Structured and solution-oriented working style, good communication skills, and strong team orientation
