We are Sensopro, a young dynamic company headquartered in Münsingen. We produce fitness and therapy devices. The heart of our product is the training software, which also includes a sensor measurement system for motion analysis and the web software Hub, with which physiotherapists and fitness coaches manage their Luna devices as well as training plans for patients and members.
 
For our software team, we are looking for a motivated, independent individual to strengthen us in the further development of our product world. You will work closely with our development team and additionally take on the role of 2nd level support: when our internal service or our installers on site encounter a problem they cannot solve, you are the point of contact - you analyse, understand the cause and fix it in the code. If you also bring experience with sensors or embedded systems, that is a welcome plus.

Software Developer with 2nd Level Support

Job Description

Job Responsibilities

• You develop our product world together with our team - from conception through implementation to maintenance
• You are the point of contact for 2nd level support requests concerning the VideoKit, Hub and our sensor measurement system - both internally and directly from customers
• You independently analyse reported problems and fix them directly in the code where possible
• You bring recurring problems into the team in a structured manner so that sustainable solutions can be developed
• You are in direct telephone contact with customers when necessary and occasionally provide on-site support
• You use modern development practices, agile methods and DevOps

Your Profile

Job Requirements

• Completed training as a certified computer scientist HF (focus on application development) or equivalent, with several years of professional experience
• Independent, structured and goal-oriented working style
• Fluent in German and English (at least B2) - you are used to explaining technical topics on the phone in English, e.g. in exchange with our subsidiaries and customers abroad
• Our values of team spirit, dynamism, quality and courage are not just empty words for you
• You are familiar with sport and movement
• Willingness to occasionally provide on-site support at the customer

 
Your Toolkit

• Several years of experience in web development (preferably ReactJS)
• Experience with REST APIs, Electron and Python is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure (including IoT, MySQL, Storage) is an advantage
• Knowledge of PHP frameworks and databases (optional)
• Experience with sensors, Raspberry Pi or embedded systems (optional)
