Medical Candidate – Internal Medicine

Profile:

The internship is aimed at students enrolled at a Swiss or foreign Medical University. The medical candidate carries out activities in the Internal Medicine ward to support and assist the assigned attending physician. Internal rotations are planned according to the existing schedule in the Geriatrics, Emergency Department, Nephrology and Dialysis Services.

Necessary requirements

• Enrolled in a medical faculty of a Swiss or foreign University.
• Medical candidates from the 4th to the 6th year of study are admitted.
• Not yet graduated or licensed to practice.
• Aptitude for human contact, motivation to work with patients, communication skills and flexibility.
• Excellent knowledge of spoken and written Italian and possibly a second national language.
• Knowledge of main IT tools (Office package).

Start date:

depending on availability of places (maximum 2 and/or 3 medical candidates per month).

NB: Internal Medicine internships are organised for a minimum of 2 months, maximum 3. Please specify the desired period in the motivation letter.
