About the job
For our Weighing & Instrument Components (MTWIC) division, which is leading in the industrialization and production of laboratory balances and other high-resolution gravimetric instruments, terminals, MFR force sensors, and circuit boards for the entire MT group, we are looking for a motivated person at the Nänikon/Greifensee site, the global operational headquarters of METTLER TOLEDO, as a Safety Officer Occupational Safety 80 - 100% (all genders). In this role, you will take on the following tasks: Monitoring and implementation of safety guidelines and legal regulations in an industrial production environment; Active promotion of the safety culture through training and awareness campaigns; Advising and training managers and employees in planning, coordination, and implementation of all health and safety-related activities; Conducting accident investigations, analyzing accident statistics, identifying causes, and developing targeted prevention measures; Organizing, accompanying, and conducting internal audits as well as inspections on occupational safety-related topics; Creating well-founded risk analyses for workplaces, equipment, and hazardous materials - taking into account current legal requirements; Hazard management (triage of reported unsafe situations, ensuring the implementation of sustainable measures); Maintaining safety-relevant documentation with care and systematics; In cooperation with the chemical contact persons: ensuring storage conditions and correct handling of hazardous materials.
