The Directorate for Social Cohesion, Housing and Public Security is looking, for its Housing and Social Affairs Office, for a:

Deputy Head of Department and Head of the Housing and Social Affairs Office at 80%

Main tasks:

• implement the roadmap of housing policy and its strategic axes, particularly regarding public utility housing
• draft the Office's reports and determinations (for example: alienation of rented apartments, right of pre-emption and appeals)
• supervise the granting of social benefits and support for beneficiaries
• ensure the monitoring of social emergencies
• manage the Office team, composed of two collaborators, ensuring work organisation, support, and evaluation.
• develop and animate a network of partners and represent the Office at meetings
• propose the Office's budget and monitor financial commitments
• ensure legal monitoring and replace the head of department in their absence.

We are looking for:

• HES or university degree in human or social sciences, or equivalent training and continuing education in the field of housing and/or social policies
• 2 to 5 years of experience in a responsible position
• knowledge of legislation in the fields of housing and social affairs, as well as the applicable framework for public procurement and public project management
• proficiency in common IT tools
• availability for some evening meetings
• excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain constructive relationships with a variety of interlocutors.
