School Social Worker Köniz Buchsee (50%)
This is what you will achieve with us
- Advising pupils (foundation stage to 6th grade) on (psycho-)social issues
- Advising school principals, teachers and guardians
- Networking and collaboration with specialised agencies and authorities, triage
- Advising the school on the implementation of health promotion and prevention
- Information and raising awareness on relevant child and youth issues
- Professional advice and assessment in cases of possible child welfare endangerment
- Class interventions and coaching of teachers on social challenges (e.g. conflicts, bullying) in the class
- Participation in a diverse team of school social workers
This is how you will inspire us
- Higher education in social work or social pedagogy
- Subject-specific further training, e.g. CAS Systemic Counselling or CAS School Social Work
- Experience and enjoyment in working with children and young people
- Interest in working in schools
- Independent and networked working, organisational skills.
- Open, empathetic personality and confident appearance.
- Independent, team-oriented, flexible, resilient and confident in communication.
