School Social Worker Köniz Buchsee (50%)

This is what you will achieve with us

• Advising pupils (foundation stage to 6th grade) on (psycho-)social issues
• Advising school principals, teachers and guardians
• Networking and collaboration with specialised agencies and authorities, triage
• Advising the school on the implementation of health promotion and prevention
• Information and raising awareness on relevant child and youth issues
• Professional advice and assessment in cases of possible child welfare endangerment
• Class interventions and coaching of teachers on social challenges (e.g. conflicts, bullying) in the class
• Participation in a diverse team of school social workers

This is how you will inspire us

• Higher education in social work or social pedagogy
• Subject-specific further training, e.g. CAS Systemic Counselling or CAS School Social Work
• Experience and enjoyment in working with children and young people
• Interest in working in schools
• Independent and networked working, organisational skills.
• Open, empathetic personality and confident appearance.
• Independent, team-oriented, flexible, resilient and confident in communication.
