Software Quality Engineer (m/f/d)
Responsibilities:
Development and further enhancement of scalable quality assurance for business-critical enterprise software.
Planning and implementation of automated test chains for user processes, interfaces, and system performance.
Execution of manual regression tests and evaluation of results throughout the entire software lifecycle.
Recording, prioritising, and tracking technical defects in close coordination with engineering and product teams.
Expansion of test methodology, reporting, and quality metrics as well as embedding automated tests in delivery pipelines.
Qualifications:
Recognised ISTQB certification with a focus on software testing and solid practical experience in quality engineering.
Confident use of modern testing tools, such as Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or Robot Framework.
Programming skills in at least one language such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
Experience with agile development models, REST/SOAP interfaces, performance testing, and ideally Jenkins, Argo CD, or comparable delivery tools.
Proficient in Git, Bitbucket, and Jira; strong analytical skills, quality orientation, willingness to learn, and team spirit.
