You can contribute this role
- Carry out functional checks and rectify faults generated from electrical and electronic systems of all armoured systems
- Perform system tests as well as maintenance and servicing of cable systems in tracked vehicles and armoured wheeled vehicles
- Inspect and repair fire control systems and replace individual assemblies
- Maintain, check and adjust optics and targeting devices
- Maintain data of maintenance orders, repairs and scheduled work in the area of armoured vehicle electrics and fire control systems in SAP
- Provide technical support at external shooting and weapons ranges in Eastern Switzerland (up to 10 weeks)
What makes you unique
- Completed electrical or mechanical vocational training, such as automotive mechatronics technician
- Several years of professional experience and good knowledge in maintenance and/or tracked vehicle sector
- Driving licence category B (category C, C1E and SUVA-recognised forklift licence advantageous)
- Customer-oriented service mindset in advising third parties
- Efficient and structured working method with independent prioritisation
