We are looking for a

Specialist Responsible for E-Voting (m/f/d)

from 1 December 2026 or by arrangement

• You are responsible for the e-voting ballot processes in the canton of St. Gallen and ensure compliance with legal, professional, and security-related requirements
• You work closely with the Voting Services specialist and actively participate in the operational execution of the e-voting ballot processes, especially in system installations, setting up laptops, configuring the ballot processes, conducting tests, and operating the productive ballot processes
• You contribute to the further development of e-voting and bring cantonal requirements into the relevant committees
• You are the central contact person for e-voting in the canton of St. Gallen and ensure collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
• You support the department as needed with other projects in the area of digitalisation of political rights

• University degree (FH/University) in a relevant field and ideally experience in the context of elections and voting
• Interest in political processes
• Good digital skills and willingness to engage with technical topics
• Very structured, precise, and reliable working style and ability to act calmly in critical situations
• Confident and audience-appropriate communication with various stakeholders in a politically sensitive environment (very good German skills in spoken and written form, French skills advantageous)
• Experience in leading or coordinating complex projects
• Willingness to work outside regular hours and flexibility in work planning
