Several of their cargo halls are certified by the industry association IATA (CEIV Pharma) and the British MHRA specifically for the demanding handling of pharmaceutical shipments. As part of strategic succession planning, we are looking for a highly motivated and committed individual at the BZRD unit who wants to thoroughly familiarize themselves with the overall processes (operational/administrative) of the De-Icing organization ZRH as part of their professional development.

DE-ICING SPECIALIST (M/F/D)

LOCATION | ZURICH AIRPORT

WORKLOAD | 100%

Your tasks:

• Ensuring smooth De-Icing organization at the Zurich location
• Implementation of Swissport internal and international standards in the area of De-Icing
• Planning and coordination of operational processes
• Shift planning of an on-call organization
• Maintenance of de-icing vehicles in cooperation with the Swissport internal GSE workshop
• De-Icing fluid management including quality controls
• Establishment of a safety culture in De-Icing to prevent damage
• Preparation and support of customer audits
• Creation of training materials
• Conducting theory and practical training in the area of De-Icing
• Operational execution of assignments as tarmac supervisor, pad coordinator, dispatcher, or sprayer

Your profile:

• Many years of experience in aircraft de-icing
• Confident German and good English skills
• Solid IT knowledge
• Willingness to moderate and lead training sessions
• Willingness to perform operational tours in the respective functions during the De-Icing season in shift work
• Willingness to take on tours within the Swissport organization according to existing qualifications during the summer months
