Senior SAP SEM-BCS & BCS/4HANA Specialist (76054)

Task

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP SEM-BCS & BCS/4HANA Specialist for one of our clients. The following tasks await: Inventory & Expert Consulting: Analysis of the existing SAP SEM-BCS system architecture, data models, consolidation monitors, elimination rules and currency conversions; Conceptualisation of the successor solution: Development of the target concept and target design for the switch to BCS/4HANA (or comparison with S/4HANA Group Reporting regarding ROI and suitability); Migration & Customising: Technical and functional transfer of master data, transaction data, consolidation groups and rule sets to the new platform; Interfaces & Connectivity: Integration of data flows from source systems (SAP FI/CO, SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA as well as third-party systems).; Testing & Replication: Conducting reconciliations, shadow consolidations (parallel runs) and validation of consolidation results; Documentation & Enablement: Creating system and process documentation as well as training key users / financial controllers on site in Geneva.; and together with the team you take on the conceptualisation, engineering and operation of our really substantial container platforms based on Kubernetes/Red Hat OpenShift; You manage the server fleet and cloud infrastructure according to the "Infrastructure as Code" principle; In doing so, you interact with internal users, identify new requirements for the cloud infrastructure, develop new solutions and implement them; You periodically handle support requests, maintain documentation and FAQs and continuously improve the platform; You provide on-call service for the self-built container platform every seven weeks for one week (SRE principle).

Requirements

• Deep expertise in SAP SEM-BCS: Many years of proven practical experience in the administration, customising and rule development of SAP SEM-BCS (BCS Data Modelling, Consolidation Functions).
• Migration experience to BCS/4HANA or Group Reporting: Successfully completed migration or transformation projects from SEM-BCS / EC-CS towards SAP BCS/4HANA or SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting.
• Professional accounting know-how: Profound understanding of legal and business consolidation (capital consolidation, debt consolidation, intercompany profit elimination, currency conversion) according to IFRS or Swiss GAAP.
• Language skills (Geneva): Business fluent English (fluent spoken and written for workshops with the specialist department)
• BW / BW/4HANA understanding: Solid knowledge in the area of BW data architecture, InfoProviders, ADSOs and queries in the consolidation context.
• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC): Knowledge in connecting SAC for management reporting and financial planning to the consolidation engine.
• S/4HANA Finance integration: Understanding of ACDOCA (Universal Journal) and direct data transfer into Group Reporting / BCS.
• Agile project methodology: Experience in agile project structures (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) in international rollouts.

Project duration October (Phase 1), followed by an implementation phase
