Senior Oracle eBusiness Suite (OeBS) Developer (M/F/X)
The role:
For a large organisation based in French-speaking Switzerland, we are looking for a senior Oracle eBusiness Suite (OeBS) developer. You will strengthen the team on ongoing projects and on the evolutionary maintenance of OeBS applications.
You will join a team of about ten professionals: project managers, service managers and developers. Your main mission will be to design and develop solutions from functional specifications, making the best use of the standard features of the software package. Your expertise will enable the delivery of well-integrated solutions that conform to quality requirements and standards.
Responsibilities:
Carry out technical analysis based on functional specifications, identify possible solutions and technical risks, then recommend and justify the chosen solution
Develop within deadlines and quality requirements, and prepare and execute unit and load tests
Regularly report to the project manager or service manager on progress, remaining work and technical risks
Provide support for financial applications, from incident handling to deployment of fixes, communicating appropriately with various stakeholders
Apply current design, development, testing and security standards, and contribute to continuous improvement of practices
Keep technical documentation up to date
What we are looking for:
Education and key skills
HES degree, computer science degree, EPF engineering diploma or federal diploma
At least 3 years of experience in development on Oracle eBusiness Suite, ideally version R12
Expertise in SQL and PL/SQL, and good knowledge of the OeBS data model for Finance modules
Good technical and functional knowledge of OeBS modules GL, AP, AR, PO, PA and FA
Good command of version control tools (Git, SVN, etc.) and software engineering processes
Assets
Oracle APEX development, ideally in an OeBS context
Oracle Workflow Builder, especially procurement process workflows
Oracle Application Framework (OAF): custom pages, extension of standard components and customisation mechanisms
BI Publisher, as well as Oracle Forms and Reports
Experience with OeBS projects in the public sector
Experience working in an Agile environment
