More than a theatre – the Casinotheater combines gastronomy, theatre and events under one roof. We place our cooks at the centre. Our approximately 60 employees ensure daily that our guests leave the house with a smile on their face. With more than 250 theatre performances and around 400 corporate and private events per year, the Casinotheater Winterthur is one of the leading cultural and event venues in the region. The Casinotheater has the Fredi restaurant, an à la carte restaurant with about 85 seats, a terrace & lounge in summer as well as a cocktail bar. The kitchen offers innovative and creative dishes, prepared with great care.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a cook from September or by arrangement:

Your tasks:

• Independent preparation of cold & hot dishes for our à la carte restaurant Fredi as well as for banquets and events
• Ensuring the quality and presentation of the dishes
• Compliance with hygiene and safety regulations (HACCP)
• Efficient organisation and coordination of workflows in the kitchen
• Collaboration with a kitchen team of about 20 people including apprentices in year-round operation

What you bring:

• Completed training as a cook EFZ
• Initial work experience in à la carte and/or production or banquet
• Team and learning ability as well as flexibility & resilience
• Independent and structured way of working
• Willingness to work irregular hours (evening and weekend shifts with compensatory time)
