Your area of responsibility
As an employee of our secretariat, you play an important role and represent our notary office as the first point of contact externally. You work in a motivated and helpful team of 3 employees in a collegial working atmosphere and manage a lively counter, reception, and telephone service as well as accounting and mail service. In this team, you work independently, welcome our customers at the counter, prepare certifications, land register excerpts, and simple documents such as guarantees, affidavits, forward incoming inquiries to the departments of our notary office, provide written and oral information, and perform other secretarial tasks.
If suitable, there is the possibility to assist in SAP accounting and to represent our accountant. There is also the possibility to assist in the land registry team and/or the bankruptcy team with daily tasks as well as with notarial transactions (inheritance matters, marriage/inheritance and corporate law) and in maintaining the testator register.
You report to a notary patent holder and are supported by notary staff.

- Your appearance is professional, neat, and always friendly
- You have a strong service focus, which you fulfill independently and confidently even in hectic situations
- You can temporarily handle several tasks simultaneously and quickly switch between topics (multitasking)
- As a reliable, honest, and resilient person, you complete the tasks assigned to you conscientiously, discreetly, and efficiently
- You have confident German language skills in spoken and written form
- You have good IT user skills, especially in Microsoft Office, and quickly familiarize yourself with new IT applications
- You are interested in legal matters and generally open to learning new things
- A commercial basic education or an equivalent education and professional experience in reception as well as oral foreign language skills (e.g., IT/EN/ES) are an advantage
